Drop-in between 5-7 PM in the library's community room to create, share a meal, and enjoy each other's company. This event is for children and their fathers or any significant male role model.

Participants will receive their choice of LEGO Creator kit on a first-come-first-served basis. These sets are recommended for kids 7 and up.

Celebrate Father's day

The library, in conjunction with the 21st Century programs at LeGrande Elementary and Cub Run Elementary, is sponsoring two events to celebrate Father's Day! All father figures/male caregivers and their families are invited to attend. RSVP at your preferred location by using the links below. Please note the different locations and dates. All are welcome to attend, your child does not have to be enrolled in either elementary school to attend.

Create beautiful handmade cards perfect for birthdays, thank-yous, encouragement, and more. Whether you are a beginner or experienced crafter, everyone is welcome.

Summer feeding program

The library will once again be a Summer Feeding Program Pickup Site! 
Bringing your children to the library for Summer Reading will feed their minds and their stomachs!

​The library is teaming up with HCS Food Service to serve breakfast and lunch daily, Monday through Friday, May 26th through June 26th.

Free meals are available for any student 18 and under. You do not have to be enrolled in the Hart County Public School System to qualify.

Pickup will be in the library's Community Room on the bottom floor. Use the entrance on the side of the building facing the garage and follow the hallway to the right.

.5k Color run

Saturday, June 20 at 9am

"The Race for the Rest of Us" is a light-hearted event covering a distance of 546.8 yards = .31 miles = 1,640 feet = 19,685 inches!

  • For walkers, families, and anyone who prefers fun over finish times.
  • Costumes, laughs, and bragging rights included!
  • Wear a light colored shirt to soak up all the color!
  • At the finish line, enjoy some popcorn and sno-cones.
  • Celebrate your victory in our foam party zone! It’s the perfect cool-down and fun for kids and adults alike.

​This Saturday is Free Comic Book Day! We're excited to once again partner with The Great Escape: Bowling Green to offer free comics to our patrons!

Swing by the library this Saturday, May 2nd, between 8:30 AM and noon to pick up some amazing free comics! We have a fantastic selection featuring your favorite franchises, with something for every age group! Each person can choose up to 5 comics to take home. But hurry, they are first-come, first-served!
