HOW CAN I GET A LIBRARY CARD?
Library cards are issued in person at the main circulation desk. To get a card, you must live in Hart County or a neighboring county and show a photo ID with proof of address. Children ages 5–17 may get a library card with a parent or guardian’s signature.
Can I use your computers?
Free computer access is available. First-time users must sign a Computer Use Agreement Form. A library card is not required to use our computers. You must sign in at the front desk each visit.
do you have wi-fi?
The library offers free wi-fi during business hours. The wi-fi password can be obtained at any of the circulation desks.
How much does it cost to print/fax?
Send and receive faxes for $1 per sheet.
Black and white copies are $0.10 per page; color copies are $1 per page

CAN I GET SOMETHING NOTARIZED?
Notary Public services are available. Call ahead and bring a valid photo ID.
Do you offer bookmobile service?
We offer bookmobile service to residents of Hart County who have issues coming to the library. A household cannot receive bookmobile service and regular in-library service simultaneously.
What materials do you have available for checkout?
Borrow from our wide selection of books, magazines, and audiobooks for two weeks. Check out DVDs for one week.

Can i request a book?
Yes, you may fill out the book request form to request an addition to our collection. Submission of this form does NOT guarantee that the requested item will be purchased. You may alternatively be referred to our Interlibrary Loan Program, through which materials can be borrowed from another library on your behalf. A small postage fee will apply.

The library currently subscribes to The Hart County News Herald & The Courier Journal
Does the library have space for meetings?
The library offers multiple rooms for personal study or non-profit meetings. Contact us for availability and details.
Does the library have any materials on genealogy or local history?
Explore our extensive genealogy collection, which includes paper copies of census data, marriage/death records, newspaper articles, and much more. Any device connected to our Wi-Fi also has access to ancestrylibrary.com.
